New Planned Activities:

In order to achieve the goals expressed in its Terms of Reference, the WG is organising the following activities within its 4-year time plan (2008-2012). Remarks and proposals, including new activities are welcomed and should be sent to the WG Chair / Co-Chair / secretary.
 

• Establishment of a WEB page for the working group.
• Regular exchange of information with the WG members through letters
• Announcement on our WEB page of publications in our fields (books, journals, proceedings, paper collections, bibliographic collections etc.)
• ISPRS WG IV/3 is planning to submit a proposal for organizing first workshop on 'Open / Participatory Mapping using High Resolution Imagery and Interactive Web (2.0)Services' in India in the year 2009.
• Active Participation in the Commission -IV Symposium
• Active Participation in the 2012 ISPRS Congress
• Compilation of work carried out under different term of reference of Wg-IV/3 during 2008-2012.
• Preparation of reports on WG-cosponsored events
• Second Workshop will be planned either in UK or in China during 2010-11.
• Joint Workshop with other Wg's / Commissions
• To Contribute in the technology development for 3D/4D GIS Space Maps
